Bess Lee — a native of Greensboro, North Carolina — proudly inherited an affinity for fine art and antiques from her design-savvy mother. After graduating from the University of North Carolina with a degree in fine art and journalism, Bess moved to New York and dove head first into the world of interiors by working for renowned designer Charlotte Moss. Inspired by Moss’s expansive knowledge of antiques, textiles, and fine art, Bess ventured next to London, where she earned a master’s degree in fine and decorative art from the Sotheby’s Institute. While there, she traveled throughout Europe studying architecture and world-renowned fine art and furniture collections — a formative chapter in her life and design career.

As a mom of two young children, Bess deeply understands and appreciates the role that fine-tuned interiors have in a family’s day-to-day life. For more than a decade, She has been sought-after for bringing to life homes that are both rife with beauty and perfectly functional for the modern families who dwell there.

Bess lives in Charleston, South Carolina, and works with clients up and down the east coast.
